In nature, all animals, plants and elements work together in an ecosystem to survive and thrive. This balance, however, is currently disrupted by the rapid loss of biodiversity.
Biodiversity has become a high priority both on the global and the EU agendas. Key policy developments such as the approval of the EU Biodiversity Strategy for 2030 as a central element of the EU’s post-pandemic recovery plan and the introduction of biodiversity criteria in the EU Taxonomy for 2021 have led companies to increase their actions and investments on biodiversity.
That is why CSR Europe is launching the Biodiversity & Industry Platform, a collaborative project aimed at supporting companies in tackling biodiversity pressure points across the value chain and on integrate biodiversity into their decision-making processes.
